Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco Nasser Bourita in Baku.

Report informs, during tete-a-tete and expanded meetings the sides discussed the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco, as well as a number of topical regional issues.

Following the meeting, a number of documents were signed.

Thus, foreign ministers of the two countries signed a Convention between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.

In presence of the ministers, the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Security and Combating Crime, the Protocol of Intent between the Azerbaijan Railways and the Moroccan National Railways, the Protocol of Intent between the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy and the Higher Institute of Marine Research of Morocco were also signed.
